I cannot believe I forgot to mention this when it happened.
I was driving some friends (witnesses!) last week. As we were getting off the I-5 there was a homeless man sitting by the off-ramp, holding a sign in hopes to coax people to loosen their purse strings for him. He wasn't so focused on potential donors so much, however, as he was talking on a cell phone.
