I went to my co-blogger for help. This is what she said:
I don't know if you remember, but you actually sat through a concert I played with the Phoenix Youth Symphony and we played all Russian composers -- Shosti symphony #1, Prokofiev piano concerto #?, Khachaturian "Saber Danse," and I think that was when I played the "Russian Easter Overture." My sister told me at one quiet dramatic point during the Shostakovich you said in a low voice "oh...my God." She thought you were moved, but apparently you couldn't believe the movement was still going on.
Oh, old times.
