Home is Where My Habits Have a Habitat

A girl friend of mine called up last night, and as inevitable, the subject turned to her Ticking Clock. "Are you feeling it yet?" she asked me, "Is your clock ticking?" 

The truth is, I'm afraid it has. I used to never notice babies, and now I'm aware of their presence. Although I don't desire to pick them up or hold them, I can see why others would like to. Still, I took her question very seriously. 

"I notice all the hot dads," I reflected, "Does that count?"

    I don't have a desire to pick them up or hold them either. I still haven't figured out why others would though, so I guess my clock is still ok.
