Some of the especially young kids wrote very very short poems/ideas/stories. The volunteers typed these up all fancy, printed and framed them, and hung the little thoughts all around the 826LA tutoring room. My favorite, (by far):

Dear Doritos
I volunteer when I can at this really cool place called 826LA. It was founded by decent writer but amazing publishing house creator & tutoring facility brain childer (birther?) Dave Eggers. Basically, the kids are great and it's really fun to help them write poems, songs, stories, whathaveyou. Some of them are knock your socks of intelligent, and some are struggling, but working with all of them is always an experience.
