Remember how California is screwed? Well, not long after everyone discovered California is screwed, a few articles started popping up about how if California legalized marijuana it would create a lot of revenue...as in $1.4 billion:
"...about 16 million ounces — or 500 tons — of marijuana are consumed in California each year...Advocates and opponents do agree that California is by far the country's top pot-producing state. Last year law enforcement agencies in California seized nearly 5.3 million plants."
Yeah, making those pot smokers invest a little in their state wouldn't be worth California's time.
Apparently LA is way ahead of the game and trying to at least get some pot taxin' done within city limits. Someone's gotta pay for Michael Jackson's funeral!
