I have this woven basket that I got from Goodwill that I'm using as a trash can. My roommate totally loves it because it has a wild African pattern on it. "I could use this for laundry, groceries, walking around, lots of stuff," she said, picking it up and hanging it from her elbow. "Or you could put water in it and carry it on your head," I suggested, referring to the fact that she's skinny and African.
You know how sometimes you make a joke that's only kind of funny and it totally falls on its face? You know what her reply was? "I don't do that."
