This is why I'm hot

This is why I love my father in law. He can't drive because he's uni-eyeballed since the anti-tumor eyeball operation and because of the heavy medication he's on. He's been getting rides home with one of his workmates, and so he wanted to invite him over for dinner tonight. So he had his son drive him to the workmate's home. He had written the invitation on bright neon green paper. He knows that his mate enters the home through the garage, so he brought a rubber band with which to attach the green invitation to the garage handle. He unwound the garden hose from the side of the house across the driveway, in order to stop his car and alert him to the note on the garage door handle. Then he took a potted plant and placed it in front of the hose. And then he went home and awaited the answer. 

Me? I would've just called.
