I <3 her

In New York, everybody has something to say about where you move to in New York. I discussed the possibilities with an ally whose opinion I trust. "Murray Hill? You mean Curry Hill?" she asked, "Too expensive for you right now. Do you want to learn to speak Chinese? You could move to Chinatown," she advised.

I groaned. I do want to learn Chinese, but I don't want to spend a fortune. "What about Newark? I heard I could save money by living in Newark," I asked.

"You'll save money living in Newark," she agreed, "but you will also die in Newark."

  1. Also if you're commuting to the island you have to spend A LOT. One of my friends is out there commuting from the island to Newark (odd) and it costs her hundreds of $$ a month for the train. Don't do it!
